Caramel Frosting (2)

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter

1/4 c. milk

1 c. packed brown sugar

2 c. powdered sugar

1/4 t. salt

Directions

Melt butter in saucepan on low heat.
Stir in sugar and salt; bring to boil over low heat and boil for two minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in milk and return to heat, just till mixture comes to a full boil.
Remove from heat and allow to cool to lukewarm.
Beat in powdered sugar until smooth.
Add a little milk if mixture is too thick to spread.
